DIY Leopard Print Christmas Ornaments

Easy DIY Leopard Print Christmas Ornaments! Make these easy mini wreath ornaments in no time with some dollar store supplies!

I love doing holiday DIYs! I make new ornaments every single year, and I never get sick of coming up with ideas (pssstt…. I have two more coming next week!), but this year we’re working hard at saving money. I don’t think you have to spend a ton of money to have a beautifully decorated home, and meaningful, memorable gifts for you family. These DIY Leopard Print Wreaths were made with dollar store trim, and still look amazing!

These are the little trim pieces that inspired this DIY! I found this leather trim for $2 at Dollarama. I’ve loved all things leopard these days, so it just made sense to incorporate these into a DIY somehow!

These trim pieces were exactly (I mean, honestly… it couldn’t have been a more perfect amount) enough trim to cover the whole foam wreath.

If you don’t have a Dollarama I’ve seen faux fur sheets at stores like Michaels as well! You could just buy a sheet, and cut it into 1″ thick strips to glue around the wreath.

If you don’t have a foam wreath, you can use anything circular, like a mason jar lid, instead.

This DIY could not be easier! I used my favourite craft glue (sticks as well as a hot glue gun without burning your fingers!) and glued the trim around the wreath.

I also added a leather cording piece before I finished wrapping the leopard trim around, so that I would have it hidden under the trim when I was done wrapping it around. I made sure to have at least 4″ of cording to make a loop for the ornament.

The Finished Ornament

I absolutely love how this ornament turned out! It’s one of the easiest ornaments I’ve ever made, and I’ve made a lot of ornaments over the years, lol.

The colours are neutral and will go with so many of my future holiday colour schemes, and my the fur adds beautiful texture and interest to the tree.
